Where to Find Us: Midcity Makers Market

Did you miss the March Midcity Maker’s Market this past Saturday? Don’t worry, you can catch
it again the second weekend of every month at the corner of Government Street and S. Eugene!
Every month, Hands Producing Hope joins other local businesses to participate in this fun event, setting up our tent and selling our favorite hand-made products. We love surrounding ourselves with other people who support local shopping and the women-empowerment movement, and that’s exactly what we find at the Maker’s Market. The event also features a band and local food vendors, all the more reason to stop by!

This month, HPH sold everyone’s favorite hand-made products, like all of our jewelry, baskets
and trays, and macramé wall hangings. Our colorful hand-woven bowls and seed-bead bracelets were a major hit with such a fun and vibrant crowd.

Everyone’s support for our cause, both through their purchases and words, was overwhelming.
I was so grateful to be surrounded by so many people as excited as I was to work at empowering women. Working alongside other artisans and local businesses was such a privilege as well. Every vendor stood in mutual support of each other, all while enjoying the vivacious atmosphere and of course the live music by the wonderful Michael Foster Project!

Come see us next time!
