We Made It!

Hi, all!

We’ve made it to Rwanda and are so excited! There’s tons to take in, so we are soaking up every minute!

It's been a beautiful couple of days as we’ve gotten settled, met many new friends, and have started planning.

Traveling from the US to Kamembe has been a long but exciting adventure. Lengthy layovers can be exhausting, but we have been blessed with meeting several people along the way making it truly sweet.

Not to mention we have the cutest little travel partner that never stops smiling!

Sunday was a day very well spent. We started with an intimate church service at the local Anglican church that Sutton and Kayla attend. Chad, one of their friends from America, gave a timely word on following the call of God on your life out of Isaiah 6. Afterwards, we headed out for the afternoon to a missionary retreat center on Lake Kivu with several new friends. It's a beautiful spot along the water where you can swim, enjoy a rope swing, or a nice cliff dive. We all enjoyed some great food, beautiful sunshine, and even better conversation.

Monday begins our strategic planning for HPH on the island!

We are so excited and thankful to begin meeting with people who are on the ground making this dream work.

Then we will spend the next few days on the island with our artisans, who we can’t wait to finally see!
